Heute hatten sie bei Galileo einen Beitrag über Nititnol.

Das ist mit Abstand das geilste Metall, das ich je gesehen habe.

Nitinol ist eine Nickel-Titan-Legierung die sich bestimmte Eigenschaften "merken" kann.
Zum Beispiel die Form.
Wenn das Bauteil fertig ist, kann man es Verbiegen wie man will, man muss es nur erhitzen und es biegt sich in seine ursprüngliche Form zurück.
