| Könnte was werden - so lange es keine verkorkste Modernisierung wird, wie man sie bisher jedes Mal bei War of the Worlds hatte. Einmal in den Fünfzigern, einmal mit Tom Cruise, und von dem Pendragon-Machwerk rede ich nicht nüchtern. Allerdings haben wir Guillermo del Toro an der Regie, James Cameron an der Produktion und H. P. Lovecraft am Grundstoff, also gehe ich mal stark davon aus, daß es eine gute Modernisierung wird, so wie beispielsweise John Carpenters "The Thing" eine gute Modernisierung von John W. Campbells "Who goes there?" war. Sure, it's all fun and games until the tentacled lizard-spider that was your crotch tells you that everything is made of Tuesday because only the sky can cook happiness. |
