| Back in the 18th century a man was considered nude if he didn't wear his vest or frock coat. A shirt was, in fact, nothing more than undergarment. Going without frock coat was impossible. Any man with manners wouldn't strip down to his vest let alone his shirt. If he was with a very good friend he might have gone without frock coat... So, Nicolas, who is a bit on the lunatic side, decided that he could compose better without any restricting clothes- Armand is less than amused. (Headcanon) |
