I don´t know so much about this Genre, but I think it´s very difficult to draw so mach details and to make it looking, as if it would be correct.
Your picture looks like it would be functionable, the mecha dragon I mean...
I love the details, but I think it would look a bit better if you would drw the lines with a Ruler or a Geometrie-triangle (don´t know if this is the correct word ^^´´)
