| Drawn in 2015 I fell in love with the character designs of the Chinese Vocaloids and with that I finally found my favourite male vocaloid, which is not on this picture though... I kind of wanted to construct a singing unit that consits of both Chinese and Japanese talking/singing Vocaloids. Yukari and Merli are my favourites, though Qingxian is one of my favourite Chinese Vocaloids. To be honest, this picture is a scene for a story I had in mind. I don't think I will ever write it down, but it came to my mind as Qingxian is sickly and both Lapis and Merli are fairies. These five Vocaloids form a singing group in the end and here they are singing happily together. The title "Zhongri Five" (中日Five!) refers to their respective countries China and Japan and is the name of their unit. It was very much fun to draw them altogether. Though drawing small is extremely difficult for me. |
