ok, so first of all, this story's in english. err. the people in this story hardly go outside anymore. "outside" has become a dangerous place. "outside" has wiped out most of the population. obviously, something bad has happened to the world. i can't tell you what exactly, though. could be your go-to zombie apocalypse, could be something (gasp) entirely else.
