A slim sleek figure strutted confidently down a dark street followed slowly by an equally thin, but less confident figure. Several feet away a small open-air café was providing a miniscule backlight for the various bodies on display.

I hurt you, saw it in your face, your nearly crying eyes. But you still said you love me. Put on a false smile. And said it doesn't matter. I don't know if I wanted to exorcize me out of you. Rip me out of your heart with violence.
I don't know, when I stopped loving you. When I woke up and realized that it was too late to turn back. My soul had already shattered. I'm sure you laughed while it happened.

How perhaps noticeable, this is a songfic. It's the first one I've ever written and I feel quite unsure about it. This is planned as a two-part (or more) Fiction. Please let me know whether the first part pleased you and whether I should go on with the second part.
