| Retarded team-mates in World Of Warcraft (gaming, wie man es nicht macht, world of warcraft, wow) | |
| Well hello there, my name is Paxton and this is written in english even if I am german. So if you want to comment on this post, you are invited to either use one or the other :) Here is my youtube Channel, going by the name of PaxtonMega: CLICKEDY CLACK How we all love them so much... You know, I had a lot of groups in WoW and mostly there were minor mistakes everybody could joke about, but sometimes there is this one guy in the group that anybody hates just because he lacks his very own link to reality. After a long time today's evening once again showed me, that there are people out there that somehow don't know how they can rally a whole group against them in just one single second. Imagine this: You play with a buddy and just want to level, your awaited invite for the newer Pandaria instances finally arives, the sweet EXP in mind you enter the group without a thought. First thing you see is a player from an RP-Realm. Well, PvP-Players may have their doubts about RP-Players but not all are bad, and so the Drenai mage wasn't bad at all. But after the first doubts about that RP-Mage our Warrior-Tank went full retard. You know, Mari the wise casts water that deals high damage against anyone who stands in the middle of it. Deadly Boss Mod would warn you, the red digits indicating the damage you take would warn you, even the instinct you developed after your second INI that tells you "If it blinks or splashes, move your butt!" would have warned you. But that warrior just stood in the middle, took damage and made my buddy, the healer, scream out swearings loud into my headphones. Well, maybe he was AFK, who knows. After telling in the party chat that he should move out of that AOE (Area of Effect) the warrioir started going even more retard! Accusing my buddy to be "more polite" and starting to tease him like a little child would do. After some time he went into a talk about beeing unemployed and that that is the source of my buddys "rudeness". Guess what? His argumentation implied that anybody who is unemployed is a bum and rude. Well, with that in mind whispers arrived at my chat-box, telling me to just let the kid alone because he was acting delusional. Well, I tried, but when he rushed into the last boss, closed the door before either mage or me could enter the battle, the chat went crazy. The whole group teasing the warrior, the warrior continuing to brag about his skills he showed off as #ulow (ultra low) and still trying to pick on my buddy, contered by EVERYBODY in the whole chat. Before that he went into that "I am the tank, if I leave you will have to wait" whining. We told him to leave, even the Death Knight in the group laughed about him and said he could tank easier in his DD (Damage Dealer) Skilltree than him. Again, minimizing comments against the warrior, he still thinking he had his back covered by the others (told you he was loosing connection to reality from the beginning somehow) continuing to argue about unemployed people. Long story short: The warrior went retard, was hated and didn't even understand it, totally delusional. The Question remains: Why are there people out there, that are like this warrior? In some terms WoW should teach everybody some teamwork, beeing polite to others and stuff, at least in PvE. If anybody on WoW would be like this warrior there would be no questing side by side with horde players. There would only be hate, spitting and envy. You know, I don't mind arguing with somebody IF the argument is ruled by actual logical points everybody makes, not by flaming with things one does not even know anything about. You know... I know this might sound hard and all... but history has shown what such an ignorant mind can produce if they find other ignroant minds to follow them, and later not even the strongest and sanest person in the world can do anything about that anymore... Anyways, I am drifting off again. All in All it was funny on the one hand, we made fun of him and he even gave us the material to make him look as retarded as possible, the whispers where great and I think I speak for the whole group when I say: WE stood together while ONE PERSON made this instance a comedic piece of art. Still, there is anger, anger because there are such people out there that remain confident even while everybody let's 'em know what and who they are and why they should quit playing this particular kind of game and go back to their XBOX Live Call of Duty lobbies. That was all, these thoughts just needed to be written down. Maybe you encountered the same and know what I am talking about. Have a wonderful night and/or day my good people :) Till we meet again! |
