Aand here's the explanation... kind of. Let the criminal speak for herself! "What could possibly drive someone to murdering their entire family and subsequently disappearing without leaving a single trace, you ask? That's crazy, you say? And fcking insane? Well, I know. That's exactly what I intended. Let me explain. I once used to be a normal girl. A normal girl with normal parents and normal siblings living a normal life. And it was so BORING. Every day I went to a boring school with boring teachers to meet some boring classmates who obviously had nothing better to do than to talk about their boring love life. Every day consisted of the same dull grey substance. Now that I think of it, my whole life was like being in school. In art class. All the other kids are proudly showing their works to our teacher. All of them empty pieces of paper. They get good grades, but... I think my empty piece of paper is just plain boring. I absolutely want to draw something, you know? But the only colour I have... is red. You know that feeling when you are so bored that you just pray for something to happen, no matter what? When you have absolutely nothing to do and not a single interesting person around you? Everyone just wearing the same old masks society sticked to their foreheads? No? Well, I do. That's how I felt my whole life... because my prayers were never answered. And it drove me crazy. I started to talk to myself, because there was no one else who could possibly understand me. How I thought. How I felt. Well, I'll be honest, I would probably have ended up in an asylum somewhere if I hadn't broken the circle and stopped my slow everyday descent into madness. You want to know how? I killed them. I killed everything and everyone tying me to this boring life so I could finally be free. I grew up to be a criminal because, well, it's a job that never gets boring. A job against all norms and social standards. Against all morality and routine. Against everything I've ever hated in my life. And, what can I say? It's working. Terrorizing this poor city is... actually interesting me. It's thrilling. Exciting. Keeping me on the edge of my seat. Keeping me entertained. Keeping me sane. This is madness, you say? I'm a psychopath, you say? Well, I'm not a psychiatrist, and chances are you aren't either, so none of us knows if I'm really a psychopath or not. But madness? Yeah, I think I'd subscribe to that. You want to know why? It's the exact opposite of everything normal. It's been lovely talking to you. ... yeah, okay, that was a lie. But if you'll excuse me now, I am very busy. The destruction of Capital City Theatre is set at nine p.m. and we wouldn't want to miss the explosion, would we? See you! Das Bild ist mir tatsächlich auch am wichtigsten von allen Bildern in meiner Galerie, vielleicht deswegen, weil es mein Alter Ego darstellt und ich mich relativ gut mit ihr identifizieren kann. Freut mich sehr, dass es bisher viele zu mögen scheinen. ;D
(Sie gibt es übrigens in meinem Wettbewerb auch zu zeichnen. ^^)

Ich bin ja sonst keiner, der gern Kommentare schreibt, aber das Bild ist wirklich, wirklich super! Auch deine Bildunterschrift passt sehr gut. Dass du eine einzelne Farbe als Betonung gewählt hast und wie das Mädel dann aus dem Panel bricht... einfach Poesie! Auch die Metapher, dass die Menschen ihr wahres Gesicht hinter Masken verbergen und die Person in der Mitte diese zur Hälfte abgerissen hat... Richtig cool!
Umsetzung, Darstellung, Idee... spricht mich persönlich alles an. Deswegen beide Daumen hoch von mir ^^

Hallo und erstmal vielen Dank für den Kommentar! Freut mich sehr, dass dich mein Bild dazu motivieren konnte, doch einen zu schreiben! ^^
Nochmal danke für das Lob und... kann man das überhaupt noch eine Bildunterschrift nennen? :'D
Das Bild zeigt die Hintergrundgeschichte zu einem meiner OCs, der Terroristin Atria, (die in der Mitte) die auch in der Bildbeschreibung zu Wort kommt und was sie dazu getrieben hat, eben diesen "Beruf" zu ergreifen. Ich war mir nicht ganz sicher, ob die Metapher funktioniert, aber ich scheine ja einiges richtig gemacht zu haben. :D
Uund ein drittes Mal vielen Dank! ^^
