Fanart: Fumiko - Give her the name Sachiko

| ► deviantART ► tumblr ► Society6 Hello, everyone :) Here we are again with another picture depicting a scene from our story :D Some of you may already know the motive since we've already had submitted a "pre-version" of this picture a long time ago. Curious? Well, then take a look at this :P (Being honest: The older illustration really was...awful:o) The woman lying in the hospital bed is Fumiko, the mother of Sachi, one of our female main characters. After she had given birth to her daughter she went into coma. We concentrated on the picture to be soft-coloured and a bit "faded", because it is supposed to show a memory of the day when Fumiko's life started pausing and Sachi's life beginning. By the way: "Sachiko" means "child of joy". When Fumiko gave her daughter this name, she has already known about her own bad fettle. So was the choice of this name a touch of wishful thinking of getting better soon? Or a wish for her daughter becoming a child of joy even though her mother can't be there for her? A mixture of both?
