My first thought when I saw the thumbnail was: It's definitly worth to be an illustration for a children's book! XD
It's a great concept! The large fluffy white thing, whatver it is (reminds me of an paramecium), is just great! Is it the boy's pet?
Great coloration too! Love the contrast between the dark forest and the pure white of the ... thing. XD
