| The Red Shoes Green has always been Its favorite color. Green like the swamp It called Its home. Green like the trees which It called Its friends. Green like the waters that were like Its bed and playgrounds. It was such a nice color. It was Its color and noone else's. One day It roamed Its swamp, like everyday, like everynight - in fact it was hard to tell if it was day or not - when suddenly some strange sight caught Its attention. A single red shoe lay in the wet grass, all by itself. It didn't take long to spot the other shoe. Shoes always came as a pair, It had learned over the years. Be that as it may, the second shoe, as red as its companion, was just sinking into the green waters. Already as good as gone, the shoe appeared as surreal as its watcher, as the mud dragged it deeper and deeper. Minutes passed, but the shoe never came up again. In the light of Its lantern, It faced the abandoned shoe in the grass. It gave a toneless sigh, before It shoved the shoe into the dark waters as well. Watching the shoe sink, reuniting it with its partner, It held Its lantern higher. But It never noticed the little girl close beneath the surface, who was as lost as her shoes. When the shoe was completely gone, It turned away, pleased with Its good deed. It never liked Red that much anyway. Soviel zur Geschichte des Bildes. :D Zu sehen ist wieder Will, mein Irrlicht, in all seiner Pracht. Lange genug hat's gedauert ~ aber es hat Spaß gemacht, die ganzen Grüntöne und anderen Farben zu mischen. :) Fertig geworden ist es jetzt, als ich eine kleine Lernpause (Abschlussprüfungen ahoi!) eingelegt hab.
