I never had "sex ed" at school. Sure, we talked about how a woman gets pregnant and about stds. But we never had to try to roll a condom over a wooden penis.
I looked away when we watched all the educational Videos in class.
My parents get called by our teacher, she told them that I refused to take part in the chair circle.
My father gave me a book about that stuff and I learned much like peeing after sex or self-examination.
And my classmates still didn't got that a woman doesn't have to remove the tampex to pee, even some girls.

I would not attend to a class like this today. And I still would refuse to take part in a chair circle. I guess, talking about this face to face is not for me and I don't think that everyone should be forced into talking about sex in front of all the classmates.
I stoped talking about this to my boyfriend, too. After the most importand subjects I stopped. It was too embarrassing. It isn't a big deal, because he is not keen to talk about it either. We have 2 children, btw.

But it's weird, because I write a blog about sextoys :D I guess it's okay if I don't have to know the person I am talking to about this.

Yes, I also think that Germany does it well. I had it in the 9th grade in biology class. And even then, my class was separated in girls and boys. Then there came a special counsellor from the local health department, in her bag a wooden penis and lots of condoms. Everyone got a condom and the penis was handed around so every girl was able to try rolling her condom over the penis.
She even left spare condoms to us, but hell, I was 15 and I really didnt think about sex...so the condom was lying between my books in my drawer...and I threw it away when it did expire.

You know nothing, sex ed Class!

No I totally agree with you. People should be more comfortable talking about sex instead of fetishising everything but oh well. Maybe our childrens generation will do better, who kmow

I think Germany actually handles it pretty well, we had Sex Ed by our Biology Teacher when we were.. i don't really remember but I think about 13, so almost no one had hit Puberty yet, we were told about safe sex options, reproductión and everything it entails (the boys learned about menstruatión too btw) and even talked about peer pressure, we didn't have the talk about consent issues yet ( this was about ten years ago), but we got the option for self defense classes and our teacher taught us to be confident and never to to anything we didn't feel comfortable with. The Pee thing after sex I think was in that Teen magazine we hat called "Bravo" XD
